Fixed rate per litre

Quantity times rate. Nothing is measured beyond the litres, so the entry form only asks for litres — the fat and SNF boxes are not shown to a member who is on a fixed rate.

You can hold three fixed rates at once, one each for cow, buffalo and mixed milk, and the app picks the right one from the milk type on the entry.

A single member can be given their own fixed rate that overrides the dairy's. That is common for a large supplier who has negotiated a better price.

If no rate has been set, Dairywala refuses to save the entry rather than paying a guessed price. A wrong rate is harder to find later than a blocked save is now.
