Eight Indian languages
Hindi, English, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu — each shown in its own script.
The app carries eight languages, each translated to within one per cent of the English original. Hindi is the default.
The picker shows every language written in its own script rather than transliterated. It sounds small. It is the difference between someone who has landed in Tamil by accident being able to find their way back, and having to hand the phone to somebody else.
The spoken confirmation after each save also works in all eight, using the phone's own voice for that language.
Two limits: the computer dashboard at dairywala.in is English and Hindi only, and the recorded voice guidance during first-run setup is Hindi only — the other seven get the same tips as text.
